Sundance is just hitting its stride, with Saturday being the busiest day of the Festival, especially as its part of the Martin Luther King long weekend. The streets are packed, the shuttles are full, the films are completely sold out but there is a real festive vibe.

Our film The Babadook premiered at midnight last night and was a really well received screening – the chills and thrills went down well – and still got the afterglow this morning.

So far all reviews have been positive, all are online reviews - some of the larger print and trade publications will weigh in tomorrow.

Everyone involved with the film, plus the sales agent and a few others were well up for a drink at 1.45am after the screening and Q & A but unfortunately Utah liquor laws prevent the sale of alcohol after 1am.  Fortunately though there were a few bottles of wine back at the director/producer’s place and we had a quick post screening celebration.

Celebrity watch: At our meeting with the sales company we saw Danny Glover discussing an upcoming project.
