Johnny Spitieri (Spit) slips back into Australia on a fake passport after 20 years on the run. Upon arrival, he is promptly detained, and his old enemies come looking for him. Trapped in his cell, Spit tries to stay one step ahead of his adversaries, forming friendships, and making the most of his situation.
