Acting out the final wishes of his late wife, Kenzaburo and his estranged son Toshi travel to England to scatter her ashes at Lake Windermere, the place she loved most as a child. But as they approach their destination, Kenzaburo begins to get lost in his thoughts, further tensioning his relationship with his son Toshi.
