Armed with his killer camera, photographer and filmmaker Mark Lewis (Karlheinz Bohm) unleashes the traumas of his childhood by murdering women and recording their deaths - until he falls for his downstairs neighbour Helen (Anna Massey), and finds himself struggling against his dark compulsions.
